Last February nearly 6000 people attended the 'DubFreeze' VW event - now more than two decades young and one of the biggest events of its kind in the UK. It's held annually at Bingley Hall at the Staffordshire Showground and is essentially a very large trade and autojumble event for classic Volkswagen (and Porsche) enthusiasts with a growing arm of the later model water-cooled German classics now joining in. As an aside to the main interest of trade and autojumble stands there is also a separate 'show and shine' hall for up to 40 vehicles to compete for trophies, and outside the main buildings you'll find a special area solely devoted to parked-up vehicles for sale. Year on year this has proved a very popular attraction with up to 70 vehicles for sale at any one time on display.
